Porto do Mos
At the back of the town, in a westerly direction, is Porto do Mos. Still very close to the town centre but with a more tranquil atmosphere Porto do Mos boasts a stunning cliff-backed beach with a long stretch of sand. The beach has very easy access and a beach bar overlooking the sea making it very popular, but a short walk down the beach past the cliffs can offer you an uncrowded piece of sand even in the height of summer.
Slightly inland from Porto do Mos is Boa Vista golf course. Breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the clear Atlantic Ocean, visible from most holes, combine to make this course a delight.
